Evan Plumpton has been in the scene for over thirty years. He was tutored by may distinct professionals maestro Micheal Laus (MPO) Simon Schembri, Carlos Bonell UK Aliro Diaz (Venezuela) John Mills (Cardiff) With his background amalgamating classic, folk, pop and rock, he is the ideal tutor for anyone who wants to learn how to play the guitar in a proficient manner.
He has over 30 years of experience and performed at the President’s Palace, and often collaborates with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the Pjazza Teatro Rjal Orchestra and Malta Youth Orchestra.

Evan Plumpton started learning how to play the guitar at just seven years of age. He holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Malta and a FLCM from a London College. He is known globally for the recitals that he regularly performs both in Malta and abroad.
Plumpton is available to perform at civil and church weddings, restaurants, hotels and other private events. He has performed at the President’s Ball, Notte Bianca, CHOGM and a number of receptions that take place at the President’s Palace.
He also performs yearly at the Zejt iz-Zejtun cultural feast.
Evan Plumpton also performs in quartets, trios and duos when it comes to his guitar recitals. He also took part in a number of baroque music festivals in Valletta, Mdina and Birgu where he is regularly accompanied by other instruments including accordions, violins, mandolins and flutes.
